9 Tips On How To Go To Disney World On A Shoestring Budget

By Tim Burton

What you are about to read will save you loads of money !

Many families get quite a shock when they calculate what it will cost them to have a Walt Disney World holiday.

You’ll need flights, accommodation, car hire/driving costs, food, passes to Walt Disney World (they are expensive – children are classed as ages 3-9 years old and costs not much less than adult prices), entertainment, and more…

I am going to show you how to have a budget-wise Disney holiday.

Tip # 1. Do it Yourself

Book your Disney World vacation online.

You will find the cheapest rates by booking each component separately yourself – air, accommodation, car hire and even theme park tickets.

You can book way in advance and still get the same savings as if you had booked last minute. The difference is that booking last minute can cause you stress. So Relax !

Take your own food and drink. If you’re taking a charter flight, you can pay far more than you want to pay for in-flight food and drinks. You might not even enjoy it.

Tip # 2. Rent an Orlando Villa directly from the owner.

Stay in a privately owned villa or vacation rental home within 20 minutes drive of Walt Disney World.

People in Europe have been holidaying in private villas for years. Many Europeans and North Americans now own villas in Orlando all within 20 minutes drive of Disney.

These privately owned homes belong to families just like yourselves. Because these families vacation in their homes as well, they are fully equipped with everything that you could hope for.

The price you pay is where the bargain comes in if you book directly from the owner of the property. Vacation homes near Disney can start from as little as $79 to less than $160 per night for a whole family sized house. Price often depends on the season and quality, level of privacy and amenities of the villa that you want.

Your whole family could have room to themselves instead of cramming together in the same hotel bedroom.

Plus, you can have lounge, private pool, spa, game room, full kitchens and much more than I can mention here.

To make your holiday even cheaper, split the cost of your villa with another family.

Orlando has many huge villas that can sleep 2-3 families. Many have multiple master bedrooms. So each family can have a master bedroom and extra bedrooms for the rest of the family. They also have multiple bathrooms and multiple living/dining areas.

So if you don’t mind sharing with friends or family you could save even more money on accommodation.

Sign up for newsletters on Orlando vacation rentals websites. That way you can keep abreast of special deals available.

Look out for last minute deals from private villa owners.

Once you rent a private villa you won’t want to ever use a hotel again.

Tip # 3. Go Off Season

Prices plummet when the kids are back at school ! You save more than 50% on flights, and at low season, Orlando vacation rentals are much cheaper.

Flights:

You would be amazed how much you can save in airline tickets if you go low season, especially if your family is large.

Sign up to newsletters with your favourite airlines to hear about the best flight deals first.

Seize the specials by looking out for bargain flight offers in good time.

Many websites specialise in finding air fare deals. Use farefinders. These are websites that search for cheap airfares.

Look out for newspapers that offer flight discounts that involve collecting tokens. Some have ‘buy one get on free deals’ on flights at specific times of the year.

Don’t fly at weekends if there are surcharges.

But, who wants to go to Walt Disney World when kids are Back at school ?

If you are a bargain hunting holiday-maker, you might consider it if you realise the savings you could have.

Tip # 4. Spend Less on Your Family’s Food

Food is expensive in the theme parks without a doubt.

You can eat meals in your Florida Villa and save money. You get a fully equipped full-size kitchen. You don’t have to cook. You can fill the refrigerator with food from the Supermarket.

Bring snacks and drinks with you from your villa, to the Disney Parks, especially on hot and humid days when your kids need to drink lots of liquids all day long. Freeze drinks in a drinks cooler and take them with you frozen.

You and your family can return to your villa for lunch and a rest and go back to the Theme Parks refreshed and fed.

If you drive from home to your holiday villa, shop before you go. Bring your favourite items from home.

Have breakfast at restaurants that allow kids to eat free. They advertise this in their windows.

Look out for restaurants offering free kid’s meals.

Pick up money saving booklets from the local Supermarket. They are loaded with money saving coupons.

Look out for coupons that save you money at full service restaurants as well as your fast food chains like McDonalds.

You can find some good deals at Walt Disney World if you choose carefully. A family of four can easily spend $50 for little more than a snack.

A better option is for you to splash out once or twice in the Disney World ‘Parks on the ‘all you can eat character meals’ or on ‘fun themed restaurants’. This can make your

holiday even more memorable and make for good photo opportunities.

Popular buffet restaurants with fairly good prices include character breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table, and the Polynesian Resort’s dinners where food is cooked at a firepit, games are played with the kids, and food is brought to your table time and time again. The Boma restaurant at Animal Kingdom Lodge has a huge selection.

Also, for a bit more than $50, you and your family could eat a full buffet at a fun restaurant such as the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom, which has Winnie the Pooh and his pals in attendance

Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets are $15-$29 per person. Kids have their own meal choices, plus a make your own sundae bar. There is a good selection for parents and your glass of drinks will be refilled to your content.

Tip # 5. Save money on Theme Park Tickets and General Entertainment

It’s always wise to spend some time developing an itinerary before you buy your Theme Park tickets, because the right passes for you depend on how you plan to spend your days.

Be sure to check all your options. You may be overlooking a special deal for which you qualify, such as Florida resident, military/civil service, and corporate discounts

There are lots of legitimate ways to get discounted Walt Disney World passes.

Unfortunately, there are also lots of places where you can get ripped off.

So be very careful.

The WalMart at 4444 W. Vine in Kissimmee, has a travel agency called Wal-Mart Vacations that sells discounted Disney World tickets. The prices are discounted about 5%. But, they may not carry every type of ticket.

Pick up a money saving coupons booklet from the local supermarket. It is not just for food.

There are also money saving coupons in those booklets for admission discounts to places like Universal Orlando, Sea World, Busch Gardens and more.

Some popular events are also promoted at times such as Disney on Ice, “buy one get one” coupon.

You can even save money on adventures like go-cart racing, with free ‘buy one get one free coupons’.

Tip # 6. Free Admissions at Disney !

Visit Disney’s resort hotels (for example when you dine at Boma), but you do not have to dine.

Tour the grounds, marvel at the gardens and architecture, listen to the music, and mingle with the cast members.

If you do dine make sure you give yourself a lot of time before dinner, so that you have plenty of time to savour the sights in daylight.

Tip # 7. Car Hire Savings

Look out for car rental savings from almost all of the national car hire companies.

Tip # 8. Airport Parking

Book your airport parking in advance. It is much more expensive on the day.

Check your car insurance or roadside assistance membership for special offers on airport parking.

Some airport hotels offer one night pre-flight stays that include holiday parking.

Look out for other parking offers.

Book your cab/minivan in advance. Negotiate a deal with the driver to pick you up on return as you are giving them double business.

Tip # 9. Buy Low Cost Travel Insurance

Compare prices and make sure that it has what you need. If you’re going away more than once in the year consider an annual policy.

I always save loads of money whenever I go to Disney, and I still have a Disney holiday in luxury and style… you can too!

Tips For Choosing A Good Dentist

Submitted by: Gabriel Adams

When choosing a dentist, you will need to take a number of factors into consideration. If you have dental insurance, however, the first step in the selection process will be to find out which dentists are covered through your insurance.

Many dental insurance policies restrict the choices of dentists that can used in order to gain the full advantages of the coverage. Those dentists that are included in the network have agreed to abide by the guidelines as established by the insurance company, including agreeing to receive only a specific amount of money from the insurance company on various procedures.

Once you know which dentists are available in your network, you can begin to narrow down your choices even further. Of course, if you are unable to find a dentist in your network that you feel comfortable with, most policies will allow you to go to a dentist that outside of your network. The downside to taking this step is the fact that you will have to pay more out of your own pocket toward your visits and treatments. Over time, this can become quite costly.

If you are hoping to stay within your network in order to reap the greatest benefits of your insurance, talk to your co-workers about their experiences with dentists in your network. Reputation goes a long way when it comes to selecting the best dentist for you. If you find that many of your co-workers prefer going to one specific dentist, you will likely enjoy going to that dentist as well. Similarly, if you have co-workers that have had a bad experience with a particular dentist, you know to avoid using the services that dentist offers.

Of course, proximity to your home is another factor. Depending on where you work, many of your co-workers may live in an area that is far from where you live. As such, you should seek out those co-workers that live in your area in order to find out who they go to for their dental hygiene care.

High Deductible Medigap Versus F Plan Supplement

By Dennis Jarvis

An important addition to the Medicare supplement market was the advent of the High Deductible F plan. As health insurance agents across all segments, Individual, Small Group, and Medicare supplement, we’ve been big fans of high deductibles for many years now. It went along with our belief that health insurance was increasingly becoming a question of insuring the really big bill and self-insuring the smaller bills as rates continued to increase ad infinitum. We’re a little more hesitant with the high deductible F Medigap plan and we’ll explain further. If anything, it’s important to understand what were gaining and losing in both situations. Let the comparing begin!

First, a quick look at the standard trade-off. The F plan is pretty much the bulwark of the Medicare supplement world. It’s by far the most popular and generally stands as the most comprehensive Medigap plan with coverage for the core holes in Medicare such as deductibles, co-insurance, and maybe most importantly, excess. The high deductible option is an F plan with a high deductible built in. Medicare will still pay accordingly but you must meet the deductibles and 20% coinsurance until the deductible is met. Of course, the premium is much lower as a result of this high deductible. The pricing is affected by age and area of course but as an example, we’ll consider a premium difference of $100/monthly versus a deductible of $2000. This is a pretty good baseline on the market. So essentially, we’re talking $1200 annual savings versus $2000 deductible. It’s gets a little better on the side of the deductible since you’re realistically looking at roughly a $1200 hospital deductible and $150 for physician costs, after which you’ll pay 20% of the charges. You won’t really hit the $2K deductible unless you have really big bills in a calendar year. On the surface, this isn’t a bad trade off. If you don’t big health issues, you’re going to save $1200 and maybe you’ll incur under $600 annually in a good year. If you have a really bad year, you’re out of pocket $800 versus the straight F plan. That’s what we’re looking at $1200 in savings in a perfect year versus spending an extra $800 in a really bad year. Sounds great, right?

Obviously, if you have more serious health issues (or history), the high deductible isn’t a great option from the start. You’ll be paying an extra $800 each year above what you would pay on the straight F Medigap plan. Here’s the issue. At age 65, you are entering a period of life in which medical care usage and expense skyrockets. As it is, a person’s health care costs double with every decade of their life on average. This really accelerates over age 65. Our hats go off to all the 65 year olds who eat healthfully and attend yoga and Pilates regularly but many expensive health care concerns are in spite of healthy living for the over 65 age band. If you’ve lapse the gym membership or love donuts, then let’s be honest, the costs will likely be much higher. If you were a betting person, putting your money on low health care costs over age 65 is not supported by statistics. You don’t want to take short term gain (premium savings of $1200) versus long term pain (out of pocket of $800 annually). This bring us to another point, if your health changes significantly, it can be impossible to change plans to the traditional F medigap plan in the future. That’s the skinny on the high deductible versus F plan. Of course, we’re happy to walk through your particular situation but you’re now armed with information that can directly affect your future health care expenditure.

5 Ways To Remove Your Unwanted Piano

There will come a time when you’ll need to remove some of the large items in your home. That old piano may be one of them. The thought of removing such a valuable or sentimental item may give you some second thoughts but the need and urgency to dispose of it deny you of that choice.

Are you in the midst of a home renovation? Are you in the process of moving to a smaller loft and you can’t bring that big old piano? There are a bunch of reasons why you can no longer keep or take care of that piano. You just need to know all available options that are there, right?

Allow us to help you come up with the most sound decision for your piano. We have listed below the top 5 ways of disposing of your old piano.

Sell Your Unwanted Piano Online

Thanks to the power of the internet, quickly getting rid of that piano while getting back some of the money you’ve invested in it can become a possibility. There are a lot of markets out there where you can find potential buyers for your piano.

The most common and popular marketplaces are Facebook, eBay, and Craiglist. There are also a lot of local online platforms where you can meet buyers near you. You can communicate with them and even request the buyer to pick up the piano at your location.

Note: Although old pianos are treated as antiques, they usually aren’t worth a lot of money.

Donate Your Piano to Charity Institutions

If you think that selling your piano is not worth the effort, you can consider donating it. You can bring the piano directly to charity organisations or have them pick it up from your home.

Check your local network for schools, churches, or institutions that are willing to accept your piano. These are places where your piano can still be of service. You can be assured that they’ll take care of your instrument for you.

Recycling the Piano for Reuse of Valuable Parts and Materials

A piano is a musical instrument that is composed of many valuable and durable parts. The hardwood itself has been cured and laminated for the purpose of stability and durability. Its strings, on the other hand, are made of high carbon steel. If your piano is broken and beyond repair, it is best to recycle it to salvage the still usable parts.

The parts mentioned above may be valuable in terms of their quality but be aware that they don’t catch high prices when sold. It is better to recycle the materials or repurpose them into something you can use.

Recycling and dismantling the piano by yourself is also not a good idea. It is very easy to destroy the parts and make them totally unusable if you don’t apply safety measures while doing the task.

We advise that you hire a junk removal company or send the piano to a recycling centre to ensure the recycling process will be as smooth as possible.

Offer the Piano to Friends, Family, and Music Students at a Cheap Price or for Free

You may have no use for that old piano but there are a lot of people out there who may need the instrument and have used it. Start by offering the piano to your friends and family at a cheap price. However, you have to make sure that your instrument is still in respectable shape or can still be repaired.

There are music students out there who don’t have the means to purchase a piano. You can as well just give it to them for free. A small act of generosity and charity through that old piano wouldn’t hurt you, right?

Call a Piano Removal Company to Properly Deconstruct, Recycle, and Dispose of Your Old Piano

If all the options mentioned above don’t work for you, you can always opt for hiring a piano removal company. These companies have the means and abilities to take care or dispose of your old piano for you. This can be your best option, especially when you’re in a hurry to get rid of that piano as soon as possible.

Remember that not all rubbish removal companies are the same. You have to carefully scrutinise which one to hire depending on your needs. Check their prices, reputations, and availability of services in your area.

How Food Retailers Can Prepare For Fda Food Recalls A 9 Step Plan

By Paul Langhorst

According to the FDA Web site, the U.S. food supply remains among the safest in the world. However, it also warns that threats to food safety related to importation from multiple foreign sources, the mislabeling of products, and even bio-terrorism have added to the set of existing ‘natural’ occurrences of food contamination.

While the FDA does not have the authority to actually order food distributors to issue a recall, they frequently issue recall requests. These requests, if not heeded, can result in lawsuits which force distributors to comply. Still, the August 2004 issue of Consumer Reports states that a large percentage of products subject to recall remain in use. The reports sites one of the major reasons for this is that ‘companies are unable – or unwilling – to track down and notify customers’ once a problem is recognized.

The consequences of your organization continuing to distribute a contaminated or mislabeled food item instead of issuing a product recall can potentially include expensive settlements (the average settlement for recall-related litigation is over $200,000), damaged customer relationships, and even loss of life. Smart companies prepare themselves in advance of a potential recall situation.

Here is a summary of a 9-step food recall plan created by a research group led by the University of Florida and sponsored by a U.S. Army Grant. By following these steps in the face of a recall situation you will be preparing yourself to act quickly and effectively:

Step #1: Make assignments from emergency checklists: ‘The Food Recall Manual’ includes 11 checklists designed help your company organize itself properly when facing a recall situation. These steps include selecting a recall coordinator, training a spokesperson, and prioritizing risks.

Step #2: Gather evidence as to the cause: Now and in the near future, your company will be asked how it identified the need for a food recall campaign and what steps you took to enact the recall and remedy the situation. You need to think like a lawyer and gather evidence, ultimately showing that your company is being thorough and careful in its treatment of the situation. Sources of information can include external sources (e.g., brokers and distributors) and your own company records (e.g., complaint histories, accounting, consumer affairs, and distribution departments).

Step #3: Analyze the evidence and work with FDA on classification: Next, your team needs to make a determination as to the severity of the threat posed by your contaminated or mislabeled food product. The FDA has a three-level classification system, from Class I (most severe) to Class III (least severe).

Step #4: Get the word out: Good crisis communication on behalf of your company can make the difference between a small business disruption and going out of business. Key points to consider: determine the right audience, decide the best way to get your message out, and give enough detail. Be sure to limit the information you provide only to that which you know to be true.

Step #5: Monitor the recall: You may be asked in the future by both the regulatory agency overseeing your recall effort and by lawyers representing various affected parties to show adequate documentation of your food recall effort. Be sure to keep detailed records of information such as the number of consignees contacted, the dates and methods used to contact them, and the total quantity of product that has been accounted for so far.

Step #6: Dispose of the product: Before disposing of the recalled product, be sure to notify the FDA or other overseeing agency about your plans. It can also be wise to have a member of that agency witness the disposal effort to show them that your effort is thorough and being executed properly.

Step #7: Apply for termination of recall: At the appropriate time, your company may request that the recall effort be terminated. In order to do this, you will need to get permission from the FDA or other agency involved in your case.

Step #8: Assemble recall team and debrief: Once the recall effort has ended, be sure to assemble your team to review what happened and determine how to avoid future problems. In particular, you should rate yourselves on the effectiveness and efficiency of the recall effort in order to be better prepared for future recall situations.

Step #9: Prepare for legal eventualities: A variety of civil or criminal charges may arise as the result of a food product contamination situation. Customers can make a range of claims, including strict liability (in which case there is no burden of proof placed upon the client), punitive damages, and class action lawsuits.

Once you have set a recall effort into motion, your company can potentially minimize the legal, financial, and health-related impacts of the problem by preparing yourselves ahead of time to identify the threat, notify customers, and document your efforts meticulously.

XRP runs on the RippleNet platform which is built on the top of a distributed ledger called XRP Ledger. While RippleNet is run by a company called Ripple, the XRP Ledger is open-source and is not based on blockchain, but rather the previously mentioned distributed ledger database.

#8. Uniswap (UNI)

Though Uniswap comes at #8, its resilience amid COVID-19 led economic crisis is appreciable. This is the only cryptocurrency that hasn’t seen a downward movement since its launch in September 2020. With its current value of USD 33.42, it comes as an incredible choice for all types of investors – beginners and advanced.

#9. Litecoin (LTC)

The consistent rise in the market capitalization and circulating supply of Litecoin makes it a potential investment instrument. Its current value is pegged at USD198.89. It has never disappointed its investors since 2014.

There is a fundamental difference in the underlying technology of BTC and LTC. It uses a hashing algorithm, hard cap, block transaction times, and a few other factors. Litecoin has a block time of just 2.5 minutes and extremely low transaction fees.

Commentary Concerning The Article: How Important Are Your Beliefs?

Submitted by: Dave Almeida

I want clarify some issues concerning my article entitled How Important are Beliefs. I received a candid comment from the perspective of an intelligent and intuitive gentleman on another website where this article is posted. Feedback regarding my ideas is always appreciated. He was correct in pointing out that the words in my article seem to convey a tone of disappointment. I related my pastor s comments concerning my metaphysical theories because I think it demonstrates how we have difficulty seeing the effect our beliefs have on our relationships. This unfortunate attitude escalates and contributes to global conflict. I also should have stated that my pastor s views do not necessarily reflect that of Spiritualists as whole. The reason being, beliefs are only partially based on the influence of others. They are also based on an individual s experience.

There seems to be some confusion about my expectation of people to elevate themselves to higher levels of awareness, rather than my confidence in their ability to achieve great things for themselves and the human race. This reader mentioned soul-saving, which I have heard before. That s a reasonable interpretation of the impression my article gives. What he says is true. A spiritual advisor cannot have the expectation that a person will jump your level of understanding. We are all going at our own pace. That fact does not put any individual in a lower spiritual class. There is no status or prestige built into the spiritual evolutionary process. My opinions are no more valid than anyone else s. The levels these illumined / enlightened / psychic people talk about are merely to establish a reference point. This are these illusory levels and do not imply superiority, nor should they be taken as such. This is the reason I am not particularly fond of the fraternal orders which adopt the degree system. Not that they are misusing the concept. It just sends a confusing message to people on the outside. I m sure that s not the intent of these forward thinkers. I do believe it s possible that the Spirit World has a hierarchal order to it in terms of how access to knowledge is granted. I doubt they operate this system with an attitude of self-importance. I am posting my reply from this gentleman to provide some insight into my thoughts on this subject. I feel it s an interesting discussion for those who believe that they have awakened to the Truth as this reader obviously has.

Those are insightful comments. I m glad you posted. I agree with you on all counts. I do understand that beliefs are extremely important to every living being. I have maintained this from the beginning. I would never ask someone to let go of their belief system in favor of one that I feel is superior. Especially since we all have valuable experiences and thoughts that may contribute to a correct understanding of the Truth. You are right. It is a bit frustrating that these incompatible energies cannot merge. If that’s what we’re talking about. I realize that everyone is going at their own pace. No one can claim to be higher in spirit than anyone else. Clearly we are all learning. I also agree that conflict is an important factor in the learning process. I completely understand what you are saying.

On the other hand, you know what I mean by awakening others. If you want to call it soul-saving, that’s fine. I tend to dislike the term “save,” because of the connotation it s been given. What I’m trying to say is that nothing bad is going to happen to anyone by opening their eyes. It’s just my hope that humanity as a whole (Global Consciousness) will eventually awaken. I feel as many others do that humanity is in a transformational period. I can’t say I know exactly what that means for us. Some people claim it to be a period of enlightenment. I’ve heard others call it apocalyptic. They could both be right or totally wrong. I have an intuitive feeling that we are nearing the end of our journey. At least in the way we have been permitted to travel it. Again, that’s just the “feeling” I get. But if it is true, do we have a responsibility to apply ourselves, or do we sit back and allow things to run their course as we have throughout history? That’s the soul-saving part I guess. I’m not suggesting people go door to door exclaiming the coming of the Divine Transformation. I know we can’t directly insert ourselves into the lives of others, hoping to change their outlook. I’ve learned that lesson. However, I do believe it’s okay for people like you and I to make ourselves available as guides to point out the pot holes they keep falling into. The spirits work with us that way all of the time. I want to point out that I’ve fallen into plenty of my own pot holes.

I spent a significant amount of time assisting in the defense of criminals (which is probably where I get this urge to save people). I saw the same people getting themselves into the same trouble over and over. It wasn’t that it was the same person doing it. They were all the same person. Many of them never learned or accomplished their missions. They just died as a result of their inability to make good decisions. It’s not for me to judge their character (perhaps their behavior), but clearly you know when someone is on the wrong path. Some people’s lives go on and on that way. Life after life. This seems unnecessary. It’s not that they don’t have the capacity to do the right thing. It’s something else. I think a lot of it has to do with them not knowing what you and I know about the universe. At least the piece of it that we do know. It seems like a simple thing to let them in on it if is appropriate and reasonable to do so. There’s a lot of room for discussion here. I’m certainly not the authority on the matter.

I’m glad I caught your comment. You raise some good points. I did put some thought into this reply. Thanks!

Readers Reply

The reader appreciated my lengthy response to his comment. He said I wrote it with insight and tact. The reader reflected that he only got to where he is in life because people were kind enough to guide him in making good choices. He also pointed out that one must have the curiosity and desire to accept the advice being offered. I agree that this is an essential element. An individual must be ready and willing to make the leap in spiritual understanding. I ll also add that the person must be interested in what you have to say. Otherwise, a positive and constructive relationship cannot develop. As my commenter suggests, people will continue in their struggles until they have had enough. At that point, they will look for the guidance that leads to the path of illumination. It may be as this reader claims that the human race may need to hit rock bottom before their awareness expands enough to see beyond the illusory nature of reality. These are all excellent thoughts on the matter. I concluded that a hands-off policy or at least a minimal contact (self-imposed) rule may be appropriate.

Being awakened doesn t make life any easier, but in a sense, having an understanding of reality makes it easier to manage. Anyone who has had the awakening experience will attest to this statement.

Certified Senior Living Advisors: Lending A Helping Hand During A Trying Time

byadmin

As the olden days of less-than-adequate senior care disappear into the past, many people are starting to turn towards their local certified senior living advisors for some much-needed help with navigating today’s late-life care market. As there are many different types of facilities and nuanced care options available nowadays, it makes sense to have an experienced and resourceful professional by your side, especially if the senior in question happens to be struggling with a cognitive condition, mobility issues, or any other late-life ailments.

This brief article will identify the three most prevalent modern senior living arrangements and help you understand how certified senior living advisors can help establish a viable late-life plan for your beloved senior.

Modern Late-Life Care Options

Due to the recent expansion of the senior living landscape, it’s important to compare and contrast the most popular options available in this day and age:

* Independent Living: As the most popular option in the present day, independent living facilities offer residents a fully autonomous lifestyle without sacrificing any medical or security provisions. With well-furnished accommodations and a special focus on socialization, these living arrangements cater to self-sustaining seniors who simply wish to be around age-appropriate camaraderie.

* Assisted Living: Assisted living centers are geared towards seniors who struggle with living independently but have yet to reach the point of requiring around-the-clock medical attention. Thus, for seniors who are struggling with minor mobility issues, subtle cognitive hang-ups, or mild depression, making the shift to an assisted living facility will allow them to experience the company of others while the compassionate on-site nurses maintain a watchful eye.

* Nursing Homes: More commonly referred to as long-term care facilities, nursing homes cater to residents who require 24/7 medical attention. For those battling a chronic condition or recovering from an extensive surgery, nursing homes are the perfect solution as professional medical care is always available at a moment’s notice.

Picking the Best Local Advisory Team

Searching through the boundless World Wide Web for a senior care solution can be relatively taxing, especially if you lack the all-too-important industry connections and knowledge needed to make an informed decision. Instead of undertaking this task by yourself, you should outsource the legwork to a reputable advisory team such as Oasis Senior Advisors because they’ll be able to connect the obscure dots for you. After carefully assessing your senior’s conditions, restrictions, and mental standing, the team of consultants will provide a host of affordable care options that take into account all health needs and socialization desires. You can also follow them on Twitter for more information.

A 3day Workout Routine For The Beginner

Most people put off making their first visit to the gym thinking that a workout routine is a commitment that would be too difficult to squeeze into their already busy—or lazy—schedule. One thing that many of those people don’t realize is that an exercise routine need not eat up one’s schedule. In fact, a 3day workout routine is all that is needed for one to maintain a healthy lifestyle. And if that still sounds too much, let me ease your troubled mind by saying that “3day workout routine” means only an hour and a half at most per day. There are as many variations to a 3day workout routine as there are fitness goals and body types and medical histories. You can use the following or tweak it depending on your fitness goal:Work out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and then take the weekends off. If you’re the type of person who hates being around sweaty people—even when you’re sweating yourself—or would not rather not stand around waiting for available equipment, go for an outdoor activity like swimming, running, or biking. For best results, do a different activity per day, making sure that each targets a different muscle group. This way, you get full-body toning out of your 3day workout routine. I would advise this to people who have trouble sticking to a routine because of boredom or loss of interest. At the gym, you can work out all muscle groups on each session. Beginners can start with one set of 15 reps for each exercise, then gradually move it up to three sets towards the end of the first month. Start each session with 10 minutes of low-intensity cardio to warm up, followed by your upper, middle, lower body workout routine. For best results, finish off with another 20 to 30 minutes of your favorite cardio. As you already know, all this rounds up to an hour and a half at most. One other thing that most people don’t realize is that their schedule is not really as busy as they might think–at least not too busy that it’s impossible to squeeze in an hour and a half of exercise three days a week. With the myriad variations of workout routines schedules out there, and with the proper guidance, you should be able to find one that’s right for you. In fact, even daily workout schedules can fit into a busy lifestyle given the proper time management. For an impossibly hectic schedule, one can even find ways to workout at home and save on travel time to the gym. So you see, there is really no excuse for putting off having an exercise routine. After all, a fit and healthy lifestyle means more energy and a longer life with which to do and enjoy all the things you want.
